Process:

  1. Click on + New Topic or Feature.

  2. Type the Topic or Feature name.

  3. Enter positive terms to collect comments containing those terms.

  4. Enter negative terms to prevent collecting comments which contain those terms.

  5. Save.

In this step you can configure Topics and Features with specific positive terms that make reference to issues about your Brand or Product.

Remember, topics emerge around your brand and features emerge around your products. Take this information into account when creating a topic or a feature.

e.g.: “customer services” could be a topic if your brand belongs to the telecommunications industry.

e.g.: "Flavor" could be a feature if your products belongs to the carbonated beverages industry.

Difference between Topics and Features

Topics arise around the information captured of a brand. Creating topics that turn around your brand, let you answer questions like:

  • When talking about my brand, what topic is more relevant?

  • When talking about “price”, where do they talk about?

  • When talking about “advertising”, where do they talk about?

This way it's easier to set focus on specific topics that could need some change of direction or more attention.

Features always arise around the information captured of a product. Creating features about your products will allow you to understand:

  • Which feature from the ones created in the platform is the most relevant?

  • Where do they talk about those features?

  • Who talked, when, or how did they talk?

Getting this information will help you to take actions about your products in more reliable way.
